A-Boss Opticians Inc. is a provider for most of the vision insurances/plans, making it easy for you to save money.
We take insurance from the following companies:

- Medicare (only post-cataract)

- Superior Vision – Versant
- UPMC for You – Envolve Health Care
- UPMC for Life – NVA/Envolve Health Care
- UPMC for Life Specialty – NVA
- UPMC Community – Envolve Health Care
- Flexible Spending Accounts: You can easily use your flex spending dollars for your prescription eyeglasses of sunglasses.
These are the major insurances we are enrolled in as participating provider. There are some plans that we/you just need to submit the invoice to receive allowed coverage.
Remember, Vision and Medical insurance are not always the same. If you are not sure that we are in your insurance network contact your insurance provider with any questions concerning your vision coverage.
To help us better serve you better have your insurance card or information with you when ordering eyeglasses. Certain insurance plans require us to send the work to their lab; therefore, insurance information must be presented at time of order to receive proper allowances.
Insurances cannot be combined with other discounts and specials.
If we do not participate in your insurance, we do offer discounts on your eyewear.
